Your responsibilities: Design program interventions in line with donor calls for proposals based on up-to-date needs assessments in collaboration with other stakeholders in the organization (headquarters, technical experts, etc.). Ensure the effective and high-quality implementation of all ongoing projects, as well as those currently in development or planned for future rollout. Coordinate the tasks, provide quality control and support the program and M&E team in coordination with the Country Director. Oversee systematic and continuous data collection as well as progress analysis over time; and monitor results in terms of timeliness, quality, and accuracy in line with the logical framework approaches (LFAs) best practice and project documents. Supervise and coordinate donor reporting in collaboration with the program team and other technical teams. Lead strategic donor engagement and lead high-quality proposal development to secure impactful funding. Represent MI in sector and coordination meetings and cultivate and manage relationships with key donors. Ensure effective communication and cooperation with partner organisations and the development of their program staff capacity. Your profile: Advanced University degree or equivalent in social sciences, development studies, international relations or project management Extensive professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in similar roles with international NGOs and experience in managing multi-sectoral programs within difficult operating environments Good knowledge of major international and German donors (specifically GFFO, BMZ, ECHO). Flexibility to analyze information, evaluate opportunities, think and plan strategically with a high degree of flexibility and ability to adapt to the needs of the situation Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with demonstrated sensitivity and diplomacy in engaging with local institutions. Experience in partner capacity building, staff development, and team motivation. Context experience in Ukraine is desired as well as stress resilience and readiness to live and work in a challenging security context. Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of German and/or Ukrainian is a strong asset.
