Distribusion is the world’s leading ground transportation marketplace and gives travelers seamless access to ground transportation online, from search to ticket purchase. We have built a cutting-edge B2B technology platform that connects bus, rail, and ferry operators in 70 countries with the biggest online retailers, including Google Maps and Booking.com. We are shaping the future of travel and building the largest global network of transport providers and retailers. We are one of the fastest growing startups in travel, backed by leading VCs (TQ Ventures, Creandum, Northzone, & Lightrock), and now, following our recent $80m Series C funding, we are ready to push beyond. Distribusion is quickly expanding globally and looking for a Technical Operations Manager to join the Retail Partnerships team to drive the strategic growth and performance of some of our key B2B partnerships. This role will require you to wear many hats and certainly not leave you bored! What you will do: Own the resolution of complex operational issues for key retail partners, serving as both the technical and project point of contact while leading in-depth investigations to identify root causes and deliver long-term solutions. Be the go-to person for partners when they need technical support, or help troubleshooting operational issues. Develop a deep understanding of partner integrations and workflows to proactively uncover optimization opportunities and drive performance, as well as facilitate new partner launches. Translate technical and operational challenges into clear, actionable insights for product and engineering teams — balancing partner needs with feasibility and business priorities. Collaborate closely with internal teams to streamline processes, enhance system reliability, and elevate the overall partner experience. Continuously monitor integration health to detect issues early, prevent disruptions, and ensure long-term scalability. Workplace: We are mainly looking for this role to be based within Germany, preferably in our HQ in Berlin. We have teams located around the Globe and our HQ office in Berlin, where the team often meets in the office. Who you are: Have 3 years of experience in partner management, product partnerships, or technical account management — ideally in tech or mobility/travel. Have experience with APIs and Postman, as well as strong data affinity, having worked with SQL before. Are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to explore technical details, dig through logs, and write SQL queries to analyze data and debug problems. Combine strong business acumen with a product and systems mindset — you're curious to understand how things work and driven to improve them. Thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving ambiguous challenges, and can communicate clearly with both commercial and technical stakeholders. Speak English fluently (additional languages are a plus). What you can expect: You will join a fast-paced travel tech company and take on a rapidly growing industry. You will take on ownership and responsibility from day one and have a direct impact on the success of the company. We value agility! We’re constantly updating our tech stack and offer the best possible tools to ensure all of our in-house engineers, partners, and carriers benefit from cutting-edge, efficient solutions. You will work with global companies. Our product attracts the biggest names in travel technology, such as Booking.com, Google Maps, and national carriers like Amtrak, Deutsche Bahn, Renfe, and SNCF. You will join an international team of talented and driven people with a clear mission. Expect your colleagues to inspire, support and challenge you every day! We offer flexible and remote working conditions, relocation opportunities, and career growth in a small and developing company.
