About the Role
As Head of Communications and Brand you lead external and internal messaging, shape our corporate narrative, and amplify our brand presence. You will develop and execute a holistic strategy that aligns communications with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and lead internal and external communication strategy.
* Translate complex technology and business topics into compelling content for press releases, articles, keynotes, and digital channels.
* Oversee media relations, acting as primary spokesperson and managing relationships with journalists and industry analysts.
* Create content for press releases, corporate announcements, speeches, and external presentations.
* Define, protect, and evolve brand identity, voice, and positioning across all channels.
* Ensure brand consistency through guidelines and cross‑functional work with product, marketing, and sales.
* Lead development of a content system that drives Orbem’s narrative across web, social, PR, and internal channels.
* Oversee brand‑building initiatives including thought leadership and campaigns.
* Monitor brand health metrics and communications effectiveness.
* Develop internal communications strategy that keeps the team informed, engaged, and aligned.
* Partner with executive leadership on public appearances, announcements, and investor relations.
* Manage all‑hands meetings and internal forums to foster transparency.
* Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of communications and brand specialists.
* Manage external PR and design agencies.
* Own communications budget.
* Lead by example, promoting Orbem’s values through actions and decisions.
Qualifications
* 5+ years experience in communications, brand, or content roles within fast‑growing, technology‑driven environments.
* Experience leading a team (direct reports).
* Track record developing and executing successful brand and communication strategies.
* Exceptional content skills: craft compelling narratives across press releases, thought leadership, website, social media, investor decks, and internal storytelling.
* Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with clear articulation of complex concepts.
* Deep tech knowledge and ability to simplify complex technical subjects.
* Strategic communications experience supporting corporate milestones such as fundraising, M&A, or expansion.
* Growth mindset, proactive, and eager to grow with a company.
* AI proficiency: use AI tools effectively to enhance work.
