Job Details Bavaria, Germany - Grafenwoehr Lager, Germany Description Job Title: Tradesman/ACMM Department: Base Operations Job Summary: We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled Tradesman / ACMM to perform a wide range of maintenance, repair, and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set, capable of addressing general facility maintenance while also providing administrative and oversight support for contract maintenance operations. This dual-role is essential for maintaining the operational readiness and safety of base assets. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine and complex maintenance and repair on various base facilities, equipment, and utility systems, including plumbing, electrical, and structural components. Contract Management Support: Assist the Contract Maintenance Manager in overseeing maintenance contracts. This includes tracking work orders, monitoring contractor performance, and ensuring compliance with contract terms. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and structural issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. Operational Support: Assist other trades and departments as needed to ensure the smooth operation of base services. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, industry standards, and technical specifications. Document all work meticulously, including parts used and time spent. Tool & Equipment Management: Maintain and care for all tools and equipment, ensuring they are in safe working condition. Desired Qualifications: Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a vocational program, technical school, or an associate's degree in a relevant trade or business management is highly preferred. Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a skilled trade environment. Experience in a supervisory or administrative support role is a significant advantage. Technical Skills: Proven ability to use a variety of hand and power tools. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic systems. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Leadership: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Certification: A valid driver's license is required. Relevant trade certifications are highly valued. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Requires the ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and stoop for extended periods. Must be able to work in various conditions, including exposure to loud noise, dust, fumes, and confined spaces.
