Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Python / Full Stack) to join our newly founded internal development team at TeamViewer. This team’s mission is to design and implement innovative software solutions that optimize internal processes, improve efficiency, and drive digital transformation across the company.
In this role, you will work in an independent, cross-functional environment, taking ownership of the full development lifecycle — from requirements gathering and system design to implementation and deployment. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from different departments to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, maintainable software solutions.
1. Design, develop, and maintain internal applications, tools, and integrations that enhance operational efficiency.
2. Build and optimize backend services and APIs using modern Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
3. Develop intuitive frontends for internal tools using React, TypeScript, or similar frameworks.
4. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify pain points and deliver solutions that improve internal workflows.
5. Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of internal systems.
6. Contribute to software architecture decisions and promote engineering best practices.
7. Drive projects independently and manage the complete software development lifecycle.
8. Support rapid prototyping and evaluation of new technologies to advance internal process optimization.
Requirements
9. University degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
10. 5+ years of professional experience in software development, ideally in full stack or backend engineering.
11. Strong experience with Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask) and solid understanding of software architecture.
12. Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or TypeScript.
13. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.
14. Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Prefect, Airflow, etc.).
15. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile methodologies.
16. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.
17. Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus.
18. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
19. Understanding of microservices architectures or event-driven systems.
20. Background in internal platform development, automation, or process optimization tools.
21. Interest in emerging technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
