Your mission Freaks 4U Gaming is looking for a hands-on and highly organized IT Manager who will ensure the smooth operation, security, and performance of our internal IT infrastructure. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for all things IT—solving complex technical issues, managing systems, and working across departments to keep our gaming and esports business running efficiently. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure (networks, servers, workstations, cloud services). Provide 1st and 2nd level support for internal employees across departments. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues under time pressure to minimize downtime. Ensure cybersecurity standards and data protection policies are followed. Set up and configure new devices and user accounts. Maintain and improve IT documentation, inventory, and process workflows. Monitor system performance and apply updates, patches, and fixes as needed. Collaborate with external vendors Your profile Required Skills: 3–5 years of professional experience in IT administration or infrastructure management. Completed vocational training in a relevant field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) Proven troubleshooting skills in Windows and network environments. Solid knowledge of IT hardware, operating systems, VPNs, firewalls, and cybersecurity tools. High stress-resilience and the ability to work independently under time constraints. Proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken. Comfortable supporting hybrid or on-site office environments. Desired Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and ticketing systems (e.g. Jira, Freshdesk). Experience in media production, gaming, or esports environments. Basic scripting or automation knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, etc.). Understanding of GDPR and IT compliance practices. Passion for gaming and esports culture.
