Bid Manager – Sales and Marketing (Munich)

Your Role & Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the tender process, ensuring a stable, predictable flow from customer inquiry through to final bid submission.
* Produce high‑quality proposals that clearly demonstrate the value of our products and solutions, addressing customer needs and exceeding expectations.
* Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Product Management, R&D, Marketing, Delivery, Technical Support) to ensure comprehensive, accurate, and timely bids.
* Analyze tender documents, identifying key requirements, risks, and opportunities for differentiation.
* Manage risk and compliance, assessing risks in contractual documents and developing mitigation strategies. Ensure full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
* Track bid progress, report outcomes, and ensure adherence to timelines, maintaining a smooth and steady tender process.
* Support sales managers during the bid phase to align with sales strategies and customer expectations.
* Refine bid‑management templates, developing and maintaining processes that streamline workflow and ensure consistency.
Your Profile
* 3–5 years of experience in bid management, proposal writing, or a similar role, preferably with a technical degree.
* Fluency in English and German (written and spoken).
* Strong MS Office and MS Project skills; familiarity with tools such as Visio or Photoshop is a plus.
* A passion for learning and becoming a key expert in our bid management process.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate customer needs into compelling proposals.
* Experience with high‑tech products and solutions is beneficial.
