Essential Job Functions
1. Develop target list and initiate contact with potential clients through sales phone calls, appropriate social media, promotional flier distribution and cold calling.
2. Arrange and confirm appointments to introduce the company and the company’s services to potential clients and build and maintain ongoing relationships.
3. Supports existing clients, acting as intermediary for communication between client and their operations teams and Crane Worldwide network; available for escalation when necessary.
4. Provides tracking information as requested by the client.
5. Escalate all issues with a shipment immediately to the client to insure prompt resolution
6. Manage all client requests and follow up to insure that the client needs are met
7. Facilitate the completion of national RFQ’s.
8. Provide marketing and proposal support for all Global Sales Team members.
9. Analyzes client profit or loss and provides proposals for yield improvement.
10. Other duties as assigned.

13. Strong client-facing skills and effective selling to decision influencers and decision makers with a consultative approach
14. Strong computer usage skills, demonstrated capability with suite of Microsoft office products and active in broad-based internet networking tools, e.g. LinkedIn
15. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (German and English)
16. Ability to meet challenges with resourcefulness
17. Demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques
18. Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
19. Works well in a team environment
Required Experience
20. Minimum of 5 years’ experience with 3PL or freight forwarder including internal and external facing roles
21. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sales (Ocean freight / Airfreight)
