Sales Director – Capital Markets Sales (Hybrid – Flexible Options)
Join the Broadridge team as a Sales Director to drive new sales for Broadridge solutions in the DACH region, with a focus on Capital Markets. This sell‑side role targets banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions.
General Responsibilities
* Achieve sales quotas for the assigned territory.
* Identify prospective new clients in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland through internal and external networking, including industry events and cold calling.
* Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate reporting in Salesforce.
* Manage the full sales process lifecycle; typical activities include:
o Initial contact and prospect qualification.
o Assist/Manage presentation of Broadridge service offerings to prospects.
o Participate in the set‑up and execution of requirements/scoping meetings.
o Assist and support formal responses to client‑generated RFPs.
o Negotiate contract pricing.
o Manage prospects through the internal due‑diligence approval process.
o Collaborate with the Legal department on contract negotiation.
o Work with Conversion/Onboarding teams to ensure successful go‑live of new clients.
* Conduct business trips as required for sales meetings and business‑development activities such as seminars, trade shows, and industry events.
* Perform any other duties as reasonably required.
Key Qualifications
* Minimum 5–7 years experience in a similar sales role.
* Fluent in German and English.
* Based in Germany – Frankfurt.
* Weekly travel required.
* Experience in agency/principal trading, post‑trade processing, securities financing, SWIFT, and reconciliations.
* Experience selling in capital‑markets areas within financial institutions and corporates.
* Ability to build and execute commercial go‑to‑market plans.
* Exceptional ability to work with Broadridge sales, account management, and business‑unit leaders.
* Capability to represent Broadridge at a senior level, both internally and externally.
* Strong presentation and communication skills.
* High verbal and written communication skills, with the energy and organizational ability to “get things done.”
* Working relationships with Head of EMEA Capital Markets Sales, General Manager, Germany, EMEA sales & account management associates, product management functions, global sales strategy & operations team, and marketing.
