In this role, you will be responsible for strategic production planning and material management. You will also manage the team and ensure that the material flows, production programs and inventories are optimally interlinked

Your tasks
10. Head of the department responsible for production planning and materials management
11. Technical and disciplinary management of the 10-person team
12. Ensuring the timely availability of materials for production
13. Responsibility for medium-term production program planning in close coordination with Production, Sales and SCM
14. Optimization of inventories, lead times and planning parameters along the value chain
15. Working closely with Central Purchasing to implement procurement strategies and supplier adjustments
16. Initiating and managing projects for the continuous improvement of planning and control processes (e.g. forecasting, inventory optimization)
Your profile
17. Several years of experience in production planning, materials management or supply chain management, ideally in a manufacturing company
18. (Initial) management experience in leading teams (e.g. as team leader, project manager or deputy manager)
19. Very good understanding of supply chain interrelationships and ERP-supported planning processes (e.g. in SAP)
20. Analytical and solution-oriented way of working
21. Very good written and spoken German and fluent English
