Project Engineer / Site Manager – Food Production (Ice Cream)

Workload: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Project Overview
For a large-scale industrial food production project, we are supporting a production ramp-up in ice cream manufacturing. The assignment focuses on the installation, integration, and commissioning of processing and packaging equipment within a high-volume production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and oversee the production ramp-up of ice cream manufacturing lines
* Coordinate and supervise the installation and integration of process equipment, particularly:
* Freezing equipment
* Packaging and distribution systems
* Cooling tunnel systems
* Interface with subcontractors and suppliers on-site
* Ensure smooth commissioning and operational readiness
* Monitor timelines, quality, and technical performance
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during ramp-up phase
Requirements
* Mandatory: Proven experience in ice cream production / frozen food manufacturing
* Strong background in industrial food processing projects
* Experience with Tetra Pak equipment (especially freezers) is highly desirable
* Hands-on experience in equipment integration and commissioning
* Ability to manage multiple subcontractors on-site
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Fluent English required (German is a plus)
