For our offices in Berlin we are searching for a People Specialist for Germany & Poland The People Specialist provides full life-cycle human resource and talent development support for the organization, by analyzing, recommending, and implementing people programs, in alignment with Group guidelines and long term strategy, while taking care of day-to-day activities related to people matters. The candidate reports to the Country Manager MBE Germany and functionally to the People Vice President, based in Milan. Geographies of relevance are Germany and Poland, for a reference population of about 45-50 employees. Principal place of work is Berlin. Main tasks and responsibilities: Acting as a business partner for the Country Managers in Germany (nearly 40 employees) and Poland (10 emp.) and Leadership team, supporting in all HR-related topics and key processes; Conducting recruiting through web channels, to attract and hire best in class candidates for positions across countries and multiple business practices including (but not limited to) sales, finance, marketing, and technology; Performing operational HR activities such as administrative parts of hiring processes (drafting contracts, mandatory communications, pension funds, etc.), maintaining personnel files, processing monthly payroll; Contributing to develop and execute global HR processes and special projects (Employee Satisfaction survey, Performance management program and talent development, succession planning, HR Global Guidelines & Policies, etc.) Partner with the Corporate HR team to develop and deliver the People strategy. Planning and organizing training initiatives for employees Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues Monitor and manage labor costs, leading the local Comp&Ben budget exercise. Requirements: University-level degree with record of strong academic performance Excellent mastery of written and spoken German and English; Polish will be a plus Advanced user of MS Office Products (Excel PowerPoint), Google and other business productivity software Preferably 2-3 years experience in People management and/or operations Experience in a Matrix organization; A prior international exposure will be considered as a plus knowledge of local labor law requirements will be a plus People-driven attitude and team orientation with ability to nurture team spirit Ability to interact effectively in a multi-cultural environment marked by a rewarding attitude towards work ethic.
