We’re looking for a UX Designer to help elevate how our users interact with our car rental comparison platform, making mobility decisions easier and more enjoyable. Your role As a UX Designer at Floyt, you’ll be part of our Product team and play a central role in shaping the user experience across our web and mobile platforms, from first discovery to booking and post-service interactions. You’ll work at the intersection of user needs, business goals and technical possibilities, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering and Design to create experiences that feel intuitive, consistent and impactful. You’ll dive into user research, prototype interactions and refine journeys based on data and user feedback, all while advocating for usability and accessibility at every step. Your day-to-day with us User Research & Insights Set up a research strategy to discover new user needs and behavioural patterns. Plan and conduct user research using appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods. Analyse user data and feedback to uncover patterns and translate insights into design decisions. Build personas, user journeys and experience maps that help the team understand real user needs. UX Design & Prototyping Create wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes for new features or improvements. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to iterate on designs quickly and efficiently. Collaborate with UI designers to ensure visual and interaction designs are consistent with our brand and UI guidelines. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Impact Partner with Product and Engineering areas to translate UX concepts into working solutions. Advocate for user-centric design principles across teams, supporting prioritisation and decision-making. Set up and conduct design thinking sessions to foster shared understanding and collaboratively ideate new user-centred solutions. Usability Testing & Validation Plan, run and analyse validation methods, synthesising findings into actionable recommendations. Validate designs through A/B tests and data-driven experimentation. Continuous Improvement Monitor UX performance through user metrics and analytics tools. Identify friction points or UX debt and propose solutions for ongoing improvement. Help maintain and evolve internal UX standards, patterns and documentation. What success looks like Measurable improvements in user satisfaction and engagement metrics. Reduced friction and support inquiries through better UX flows. Clear, well-validated user insights feeding into product decisions. Increased platform trust, conversion and long-term retention. Your profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or comparable studies) in Human Computer Interaction, Communication Design, Media Informatics or Media Design (or similar), with a focus on UX. Typically 3 years of experience designing digital experiences, ideally in marketplaces, travel tech or e-commerce. Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design work, research and problem-solving. Skilled in UX design tools (ideally Figma & Figma Make) and prototyping. Comfortable with user research methods, usability testing and data-driven design decisions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. You can clearly explain your reasoning and design choices. Fluent in English & German, given our primary market focus.
