Job Description
As Manager Portfolio Management - Delivery Companies you will support the strategic and operational development of METRO’s international Food Service Distribution (FSD) business. In this role, you will:
1. Strategy Execution: Translate strategic priorities into actionable workstreams.
2. Performance Analysis: Analyze company performance and provide insights for reviews.
3. Investment Support: Build business cases and financial models for investment decisions.
4. Knowledge Management: Facilitate best-practice sharing across functions and regions.
5. Synergy & M&A: Identify portfolio synergies and support M&A due diligence.
6. Integration Coordination: Manage post-merger integration tasks and track progress.
7. Digital Transformation: Optimize processes, tools, and reporting frameworks.
8. Stakeholder Alignment: Coordinate communication between central functions and local companies.
9. Reporting: Prepare project updates and presentations for internal stakeholders
Qualifications
10. Experience: 2–4 years in strategy, corporate development, consulting, or finance.
11. Education: Top-tier degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
12. Analytical Skills: Proven track record in strategic planning and financial statement analysis.
13. Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional, international, and multi-stakeholder environments.
14. Soft Skills: Highly structured, proactive, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
15. Technical: Proficient in MS Office; experience with AI tools is a plus.
16. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the foodservice industry is an advantage.
