CloudHQ has state-of-the-art data center sites located on two Northern Virginia campuses, as well as London, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, and São Paulo, and we anticipate exponential growth over the next several years both in the US and abroad.What The Role EntailsThe Accounting Manager leads the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities for our various corporate development entities located in Europe including but not limited to France, Germany, Italy, and Luxembourg. In addition, the Accounting Manager will lead day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities over data center entities with commercial operations. Along with the Chief Accounting Officer, and the Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for protecting company assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.What You Will Get To DoReview and approve journal entriesReview and approve the allocation of company expenses and overhead costsReview and approve account variance analysis and reconciliationsReview, approve, and present monthly and quarterly financial statements including the associated work packages to senior managementReview and approve invoices for proper coding and prepare for paymentReview and approve all cross-company transactions and prepare invoices as requiredReview and approve monthly drawdown packages for submission to lenders - Assisting in due diligence on equity investment dealsLead the compilation of financial data and other audit requirementsReview and approve monthly tenant and customer invoicesAssist with other accounting projects as requiredTravel to locations, customer meetings, training courses or conferences as desired and requiredSupport VAT return preparation in conjunction with indirect tax teamSupervision and training of young professionals in accountingRequirementsWhat You Bring to The RoleAbility to train and motivate other colleaguesAbility to complement and advise senior management at all levelsExperience in creating and sustaining a culture of success through hands-on problem-solvingStrong quantitative skills· Strong US GAAP and IFRS knowledge preferredConsolidation preparation including FX accounting experience preferredCash flow preparation experience preferredStrong sense of urgency to complete tasks on time or ahead of schedule while maintaining accuracyExceptional organizational skills and attention to detail requiredAbility to manage multiple tasks with changing prioritiesCommunication skills that allow effective relationships with all levels of employee constituents and external constituents.Experience with companies that value customer serviceTask oriented, results driven, and capable of multi-tasking in a very exciting environmentProven technical skills with MS Office applicationsExperience with Yardi or similar software experience is preferredExperience with real estate preferredExcellent analytical, technical, and organizational skillsExcellent work ethic and desire to "do what it takes to get it done right the first time"A strong desire to constantly seek ways to drive organizational improvementOur Ideal Candidate Will Also PossessBachelor's Degree AccountingAt least seven (7) years of professional accounting experienceMust be fluent in either German or French as well as English
