Your Tasks:
1. You take on bid management with a focus on project calculations and financial evaluations of tenders and proposals – particularly in the areas of cash center solutions and high-security printing.
2. You provide cross-functional support to the Bid and Contract Management team EU/LATAM/NAM.
3. You work closely and as an equal partner with our Sales, Technical Sales teams, the Contract Managers in Munich, as well as with our international subsidiaries.
4. You analyze customer-specific tender documents and develop a coherent bid strategy together with the international bid team.
5. You clarify project-related questions with the relevant departments – such as Export, Logistics, Insurance, Compliance, Legal, Procurement, Controlling, Tax, or Finance.
6. You prepare consolidated project costings, conduct risk assessments, and manage the internal approval process in line with company guidelines.
7. You identify opportunities, risks, and optimization potential within cost structures and derive concrete recommendations for action.
8. When required, you support the Sales team in commercial contract negotiations with customers.
9. You ensure accurate and audit-proof documentation and compliance with all formal and commercial requirements.
10. Once a contract is signed, you are responsible for the structured handover to the operational teams.
Your Profile:
11. You have completed a commercial apprenticeship and/or hold a university degree in Business Administration or STEM.
12. You have several years of professional experience in bid management, ideally combined with (sales) controlling or accounting.
13. You bring expert-level knowledge in cost and pricing calculations as well as in presenting commercial KPIs and financial metrics.
14. Risk assessments, scenario calculations, and cost structure analyses are among your strengths and motivate you.
15. You are capable of analyzing complex specifications and tender documents and translating them into accurate calculation models.
16. You have experience working with international standards and public procurement processes.
17. You possess basic contract knowledge, including in software-related environments.
18. Flexibility, analytical thinking, initiative, and a solution-oriented, structured working style distinguish you – complemented by a healthy degree of pragmatism.
19. You are fluent in German and English; an additional foreign language is an advantage.
20. You are willing to occasionally travel internationally to support customer negotiations together with Sales and/or Technical teams.
21. You are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (including pivot tables).
