Your tasks
Specific area of responsibility (helicopter construction & doors):
In Donauwörth, the focus is strongly on single part production and final assembly (FAL) of helicopters as well as complex composite materials.
9. Assembly support: Supervision of final assembly lines for civil and military helicopter programs.
10. Composite focus: Monitoring and optimization of manufacturing processes for CFRP/GRP components (lightweight construction is the be-all and end-all here).
11. Series start-up support: Support for the industrialization of new variants or modifications (e.g. new mission equipment for rescue helicopters).
12. Non-Conformance Management: Quick problem solving directly on the line in order to maintain the "cycle time" of helicopter assembly.
13. Creation of work plans and parts lists and their calculation
14. Incorporation of technical changes into the relevant production documents
15. Requesting production resources and helping to define their design
16. Checking and approving construction documents and regulations
Your profile
17. Specialization: Degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or plastics engineering (due to the high proportion of composite materials in Donauwörth).
18. Knowledge: Experience with jig & fixture design (fixture construction) an advantage, as helicopter components often have highly complex geometries.
19. Systems: Confident handling of SAP and CATIA V5, MS Office and G Suite
20. Experience: in the automotive or aerospace sector would be an advantage
21. Professional experience: in the areas of work preparation and manufacturing/production required
22. IT skills: MS Office, G Suite and SAP
23. Languages: Business fluent in German and English
24. Soft skills: High degree of flexibility, motivation, commitment and ability to work in a team
