To support the growth of its activities, Hygeco is seeking a Sales Director.TasksAbout the RoleReporting to the Chief Business Officer, you will be responsible for steering all commercial activities of the Medical and Veterinary Business Units worldwide. You will functionally lead the group’s commercial teams (head office and subsidiaries), coordinating their efforts to meet growth objectives in both national and international markets. You will directly manage a team of about ten staff (sales and support) across four countries.Location: Regensburg (Germany) or Asnières-sur-Seine (France)Start date: As soon as possibleInternational mobility: frequent travel (>30% of the time)Key ResponsibilitiesSales ManagementLead the sales strategy jointly defined with General Management.Functionally manage all commercial teams involved in Medical and Veterinary sales (France, Germany, Spain, UK, Export).Drive, motivate, and challenge teams by setting ambitious targets, deploying sales action plans, and establishing regular management rituals (business reviews, training, internal events).Standardize commercial processes and disseminate best practices.Develop a strong results- and customer service-oriented sales culture.Direct ManagementDirectly manage the sales and pre-sales/support team across four countries.Recruit, train, and develop talent to support business growth.Support field sales reps to enhance performance and customer proximity.Review and approve commercial proposals.Business DevelopmentIdentify growth opportunities in existing and potential markets.Represent the group at trade fairs and within distribution networks.Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, R&D, production) to ensure a product offering aligned with market needs and trends.Performance MonitoringTrack commercial KPIs (revenue, margins, new clients, conversion rates, etc.).Provide regular reports to General Management on activities, results, and corrective action plans.Oversee sales forecasting and budget planning.ProfileEducation: Master's degree (business school, engineering, or equivalent).Experience: 7–10 years of experience in technical product sales with long sales cycles in an international environment.
