We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Portfolio Manager(m/f/d) to join our Investment team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's post-acquisition integration, valuations, financial planning, analysis, and decision‑making processes. The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for supporting our project teams through the collection, analysis, and interpretation of financial data, as well as providing valuable insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
Your profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
* Minimum 1 year of experience as a Financial Analyst or Manager in a Renewables Company, Utility, Consulting, Investment Banking, or a similar role, with a strong focus on financial modelling and valuation.
* Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and demonstrated expertise in financial modelling. Experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
* Passion for the energy transition and high interest in the renewable energy sector.
* Exceptional analytical skills with a problem‑solving mindset.
* Excellent communication skills in German (native preferred but not required) and English (proficient), both written and spoken.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced entrepreneurial environment.
* Living in or willing to relocate to Berlin, Germany.

Your mission
Financial Modelling, Project Valuation, Planning and Analysis:
* Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess the impact of various business scenarios and initiatives.
* Collaborate with various departments to gather inputs to the financial model and lead/support project valuation, budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Own our portfolio financial model and update assumptions periodically based on new insights and market developments.
* Conduct a thorough analysis of our portfolio projects in terms of financial performance, identifying trends, and providing insights to assist in strategic decision‑making.
* Perform sensitivity analyses to evaluate potential risks and opportunities, contributing to informed decision‑making.
* Support the creation of a business intelligence database and the enabling of automated processes to update assumptions and store financial data.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
* Assist our finance team in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
* Respond to management inquiries by providing timely and accurate financial information.
