#127919; What You’ll Do
As an Acoustic Engineer, you'll play a hands-on role in designing and refining advanced headphone systems—working from concept through to market-ready product. This position combines deep acoustic knowledge with a practical, maker mindset.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and prototyping acoustic systems for premium headphone products.
Integrating electro-acoustic components into complete systems while balancing performance and manufacturability.
Conducting acoustic measurements on components and systems, analyzing performance.
Collaborating across disciplines—DSP, electrical, mechanical, and control engineering—for system optimization.
Supporting both prototype and production builds, onsite and remotely.
Working with partners to define and verify manufacturing processes.
Exploring new technologies and keeping tabs on emerging trends in the audio industry.
Using simulation tools (e.g., Matlab/Simulink, SPICE, FEA) for design prediction and optimization.

3+ years of experience in audio product development, especially in acoustics.
Technical degree or equivalent background in a relevant field (e.g., acoustics, mechanical/electrical engineering).
Strong understanding of headphone acoustics, enclosure design, and analog audio components.
Hands-on experience with acoustic measurement tools (e.g., GRAS, B&K, Audio Precision, Listen Inc.).
Ability to define requirements for components like drivers, microphones, and acoustic meshes.
Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
Bonus points for experience with ANC, DSP, and acoustic simulation software.
