Product & Market Development Manager – Automotive Software (Germany)
An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing provider of automotive business management software as it expands into the German market. We are looking for a Product & Market Development Manager to drive product localisation, market growth, and reseller support across the independent garage and workshop sector in Germany.
This role is ideal for an ambitious professional with hands-on experience in independent garages or workshops, who understands how the local automotive aftermarket operates and is ready to take the next step in their career within a technology-driven business.
The role
* Sales Development: Present, promote, and develop sales to independent garages and workshops across Germany.
* Partnership Building: Identify, onboard, and support local resellers and partners. Build long-term, trusted relationships.
* Marketing Localisation: Support the localisation of marketing materials and messaging to resonate with German-speaking customers.
* Product Localisation: Work closely with R&D and product teams to adapt the software to German market needs, regulations, and workflows.
* Implementation Support: Guide garages through onboarding and software implementation, including on-site visits when required.
* Training & Support: Train resellers and partners, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to successfully promote and support the product.
Our ideal candidate
* Proven experience in the automotive aftermarket preferably independent garage sector, with strong knowledge of independent garages and workshop operations in Germany.
* Native proficiency level in German (required).
* Professional working proficiency in English (required).
* Comfortable working with IT systems and software, with a strong willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge.
* Self-motivated, driven, and career-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a field-based role.
* Confident communicator, able to build relationships with garage owners, technicians, and business partners.
