Responsibilities Works under the direction of the Facility Manager who provides general instructions, standard procedures, overall priorities and policies, and relies on the incumbent to control work operations and accomplish an adequate quantity and quality of work. Serves as the technical and administrative supervisor over auto shop operations exercising full supervisory responsibility over work operations. Ensures monthly inventories of controlled property are performed and reports discrepancies to supervisor as they occur. Assists patrons with automotive repair and independently performs automotive repair as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications 1. Possess one (1) year DoD MWR management experience in the Auto Skills arena. 2. Possess Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications or valid US Trade School graduation with an automotive specialty. FWS Allowances and Differentials All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
