Your day involves crafting a resilient Ecosystem strategy that aligns with Siemens Energy’s goals and business objectives. You will implement this strategy across various organizational units, transforming the company’s procurement processes. Leading cross-functional teams, you use extensive supply market knowledge to generate outstanding value and impact.How You’ll Make an Impact
13. Provides vision, strategy, and functional leadership to global cross-functional team and acts as a role model of ownership, innovation, and change/transformation based on SE’s values and strategy of global commodity Large Steel Fabrication.
14. Manages, develops, and coaches the functionally assigned team members for successful commodity management, contract management, supplier relationship management, strategy development,s and implementation.
15. Defines Commodity structure and organization (e. g., BA/EU/IMB setup) with the Heads of Strategic Procurement and respective partners
16. Develop forward-thinking commodity ecosystem strategies to build additional value aligned with business needs, using an improved Commodity Circle network for strategy implementation.
17. Prepare, negotiate, award, and manage global frame contracts and price lists for strategic suppliers, ensuring they meet market and business requirements.
18. Establish competitive advantages by involving procurement/suppliers early and conducting cost-out activities. Identify risks and opportunities within procurement to avoid potential damages and exploit opportunities. Conduct supply/supplier market analysis and provide market information to partners through the network.
What You Bring
19. University degree or equivalent experience in a technical or business-related field.
20. Professional experience in various procurement functions.
21. Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a global matrixed organization.
22. Positive relationships with Large Steel Fabrication suppliers and deep understanding of commodity, market, and product knowledge.
23. Robust procurement know-how with the capability to negotiate and operate across different cultures and manage constrained supply chains.
24. Willingness to travel (approximately 20%); Excellent written and spoken English skills; German is a plus.
