Investment firms are professionals of the financial sector (PFS) governed by the Law of 5 April 1993 on the financial sector, which carry out investment activities or provide investment services. The assessment of the regulatory compliance of investment firms based on prudential reporting and reports from internal control functions, from the approved statutory auditor and from all other documents submitted in accordance with regulatory provisions
Legal research and resolution of legal issues in relation to the regulations applicable to investment firms
The implementation of the legal powers of the CSSF, the management of enforcement procedures, including procedural aspects, in relation to investment firms
The contribution to the constant development of expertise in regulatory matters (MiFID, IFD/IFR, MICAR, ESG, etc.) University degree (Bac +4/+5) in law (preferably with a focus on financial law or economic law) or in economics, finance or management
For applicants with a legal background, the possession of the certificate of complementary training in Luxembourg law (CCDL) and the end of judicial training examination or a PhD in law is considered as an advantage
A first work experience in a renowned local law firm, in the legal service of a reputable professional of the financial sector, in the field of audit, compliance of credit institutions or other professionals of the financial sector or in a supervisory authority is an advantage
Basic knowledge of financial analysis or data mining is considered an asset
Perfect proficiency in written and spoken French and English. Knowledge of German and Luxembourgish will be considered as an advantage
The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract.
