Go-To-Market Lead (m/f/d)

The Go-To-Market Lead (Germany) is the senior commercial leader for Merlin Entertainments' Germany cluster, accountable for driving sustainable revenue growth, market share expansion, and long-term brand strength across all primary income streams. This role owns the full commercial and go-to-market agenda, spanning performance and brand marketing, content, PR, pricing and promotions, digital commerce, partnerships, and direct and indirect distribution channels.
With a clear mandate to outperform the market, this leader will design and deliver an integrated, insight-led go-to-market strategy that accelerates visitation, strengthens brand consideration within the family and leisure segments, and delivers sustained revenue and EBITDA growth. Acting as the commercial orchestrator for the market, the role brings together strategy, execution, and optimisation – ensuring disciplined delivery, market responsiveness, and exceptional guest engagement across the Germany portfolio.
Strategic Leadership & Commercial Ownership Define and execute Germany's go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Merlin's flagship attractions, delivering ~£38m EBITDA and aligning with global priorities. Act as the senior commercial advocate, shaping competitive positioning and third-party distribution across key channels (Tour Operators, OTAs, MICE, Schools).
Integrated Planning & Execution Lead cross-functional GTM planning – pricing, promotions, media, partnerships, and digital commerce – balancing brand storytelling with performance marketing. Ensure all initiatives are customer-led, data-informed, and outcomes-driven.
Commercial Optimisation & Innovation Collaborate with Revenue Management and Digital teams to optimise pricing, conversion, and channel performance. Launch new products, rides, and seasonal activations, and identify innovative opportunities to grow market share and guest engagement.
Team Leadership & Collaboration Build and inspire a high-performing GTM team, fostering creativity, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Brand.
Guest & Market Insight Use consumer research, market trends, and competitive intelligence to refine GTM strategy, embedding the voice of the customer and responding to domestic/international visitor behaviors.
Critical Interfaces Partner with Cluster / Property GMs, Brand, Revenue Management, Digital, Insights, Operations, Finance, PR, Partnerships, and Product Development teams to align strategies, optimise performance, and drive commercial success.
Experience & Qualifications Senior leadership in go-to-market, commercial, or growth strategy roles within consumer, entertainment, travel, or retail sectors. Proven track record in driving revenue and market share growth through integrated, multi-channel strategies. Expertise in brand marketing, performance marketing, pricing optimisation, distribution, and customer acquisition. Experience leading cross-functional teams and high-profile assets in competitive markets, with a strong understanding of the German consumer landscape and international visitor attraction dynamics.
