The Opportunity:

Are you interested in continuing your career in Europe in a mission focused environment? CACI has established upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple customers for the Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives.

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Systems Administrator Lead, SME. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAREUR-AF and their Mission PartnerG26

located OCONUS in Wiesbaden, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.This position is located OCONUS.

Responsibilities:

1. Supports installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades, including cloud-based systems

2. Provides support and tech expertise in systems technology, including virtual hardware and cloud capabilities

3. Manages network and systems configurations to improve performance and maintain compliance with cybersecurity ATO requirements

4. Maintains network Active Directories (ADs), file servers, and print servers

5. Assesses and supports testing of proposed configuration changes and documents configuration changes

6. Ensures configurations enable automated updating (e.g., System Center Configuration Manager)

7. Administers and maintains virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware)

8. Ensures system backups, recovery, and storage provisioning are adequate to support Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans

9. Supports COOP and DR reviews and exercises, including developing plans or scenarios, and implements changes identified and approved as a result of exercises

10. Performs routine audits of operating systems, servers, and applications, including forensic audits and reports or resolutions for incidents

11. Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves system hardware, software, and networking issues, including system outages

12. Monitors response times, evaluating user satisfaction levels and making recommendations for system improvements

13. Interfaces with vendors/Government/technical staff on technical solutions, system implementation, optimization, and ongoing management

14. Frequently participates and contributes to discussions and evaluations of new technologies

15. Possesses and applies expertise on multiple, complex work assignments

16. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives

17. Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge

18. Supervises systems administration teams and mentors less experienced personnel

Qualifications:

19. Currently hold an adjudicatedTop Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

20. BA/BS + 13 years

21. Certification – 8140 -CCNA or GCIA or GCLD or GDSA or GFACT or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP

22. Exhibits extensive experience in systems administration, with deep knowledge of operating systems, cloud technologies, and virtualization platforms.

23. Demonstrates expertise in network management, cybersecurity, and compliance with ATO requirements.

24. Possesses strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex hardware, software, and networking issues.

25. Shows proficiency in managing active directories, file servers, print servers, and implementing automated updating systems.

26. Displays mastery of configuration management and domain-specific technical knowledge.

27. Excels at interfacing with vendors, government, and technical staff on system implementations and optimizations.

28. Shows proficiency in disaster recovery planning, system auditing, and performance optimization.

29. Displays leadership abilities, capable of supervising teams and mentoring junior staff.

30. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and contributes to strategic discussions on IT infrastructure improvements.

31. TESA eligible

32. Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs

33. Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards

34. Experience with DoD IT security requirements

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$99,300 - 208,600 USD
