Regional Sales Manager Rhein-Ruhrgebiet Fieldpiece Instruments, a family‑run U.S. company with a European headquarters in Doetinchem, Netherlands, seeks an immediate hire for the regional sales manager role covering the Rhineland‑Ruhr area. The successful candidate will represent Fieldpiece, drive revenue and market share growth, and build trusted relationships with trade partners, HVAC contractors and end‑users. The role includes product training, sales conversations, and comprehensive customer support from consultations through post‑sales. Responsibilities Visit and nurture relationships with trade partners and large end‑users. Follow a structured sales process, including lead follow‑up. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through acquisition and networking. Deliver excellent customer service and respond quickly to inquiries. Demonstrate thorough product knowledge of Fieldpiece solutions. Use a CRM system to capitalize on sales opportunities. Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform strategy. Participate in business and trade events. Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and customer experience. Qualifications Experience in the HVAC (Sanitär, Heizung, Klima) or related industrial tooling sector with an affinity for complex technical products. Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably with HVAC tools, test devices, or technical products. Consistent success in meeting sales targets. Strong skills in building business relationships, negotiating, and communicating. High initiative and accountability toward business goals. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Effective presentation skills at all customer levels. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Strong intercultural sensitivity and willingness to support customers in the field.
