Role Description
The Specialized Architecture Team plays a key role in transformation and organizational areas: designing core company processes at the interface between business units and IT. As the head, you will lead the newly created unit with approximately 6-8 team members, develop the domain, and drive business architecture and process management across all company sectors.
Responsibilities
1. Establish Business & Process Architecture: Develop core concepts, methods, tools, roles, responsibilities, collaboration models, and continuously improve them.
2. Define Target States & Ensure Alignment: Collaborate with IT and enterprise architecture to ensure seamless integration of business goals.
3. Optimize Processes: Analyze and improve complex, company-wide processes, from initial idea to implementation of innovative solutions based on new technologies like AI and RPA.
4. Consult & Support: Use your architecture expertise to advise product teams, business owners, and project managers, ensuring business requirements are translated into future-proof IT solutions.
5. Monitor Trends: Keep an eye on market and industry trends, identify strategic partners, and leverage this knowledge to continually develop the business and process architecture.
6. Leadership & Team Development: Build, lead, and develop your team, fostering a modern and collaborative leadership culture.
Qualifications
Ideal background, possibly from corporate consulting or organizational departments:
1. Academic Background: Degree in business administration, (business) informatics, or a comparable field.
2. Practical Experience: Several years in developing and optimizing business processes and target architectures—preferably in corporate or process consulting or as an enterprise architect.
3. Methodological Knowledge: Familiar with frameworks like Domain-Driven Design, Event Storming, TOGAF, Business Capability Maps, BPMN, Six Sigma, or Lean Management.
4. Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and developing teams (line or project) and a passion for guiding and nurturing talent.
5. Technology Understanding: Passion for technological trends, good sense for IT solutions, and ability to translate business needs into technical implementations.
