What are my responsibilities?
1. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of services included in the Global Network and Datacenter portfolio at Yunex Traffic
2. Act as a key point of contact for business stakeholders, with a strong focus on delivering high levels of user satisfaction
3. Manage relationships between Yunex IT and service providers, ensuring effective handling of incidents, problems, and escalations
4. Take ownership of service-related financials, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting
5. Ensure service availability, resilience, and continuity, monitoring performance against agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
6. Continually evaluate the performance of providers and local delivery teams, manage claims, and lead service improvement processes
7. Take a hands-on approach to service operations, ensuring effective delivery and stability of services within scope
8. Define and align the provider landscape and sourcing strategy (make-or-buy), and oversee execution against strategic objectives
9. Coordinate and support service introduction and transition activities, including unit and integration testing, and ensure documentation of processes and procedures
What do I need to qualify for the job?
10. Successfully completed university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable field; alternatively, a completed vocational training in IT combined with relevant professional experience
11. Several years of professional experience in IT Service Management, preferably in an international and mid-sized business environment
12. Solid technical understanding of network and datacenter infrastructures as well as hands-on experience in operating and managing infrastructure services
13. Proven experience in managing external service providers and coordinating internal and external stakeholders
14. In-depth knowledge of ITIL or comparable service management frameworks, including incident, problem and service level management
15. Experience in working at the interface between IT and business functions, with a strong focus on service quality and user satisfaction
16. Good understanding of service-related financials such as budgeting, cost control and forecasting is an advantage
17. Structured and solution-oriented working style combined with a high level of ownership and accountability
18. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across different organizational levels and in an international environment
19. Business fluent English is required; German language skills are considered a plus
