You can look forward to
* Starting with a structured onboarding programme and gradually taking on responsibility for managing the placement process – from business origination and pricing through to final underwriting decisions
* Reviewing and assessing enquiries for structured reinsurance solutions, developing tailored concepts and conducting negotiations with clients
* Managing and renewing existing reinsurance contracts, as well as planning, monitoring and coordinating business data in line with defined quality standards
* Preparing actuarially sound analyses and projections to ensure and actively manage the profitability of reinsurance contracts
* Maintaining existing business relationships and supporting the development of new partnerships, including regular in-person meetings in Hannover and worldwide
* Working closely with our (international) colleagues in Underwriting, Actuarial, Accounting and Natural Catastrophe Modelling
You come equipped with
* A completed Master’s degree in Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Physics or a comparable field with a strong economic focus
* Initial practical experience in the insurance or financial services sector, for example through internships or working student roles
* Confident use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Proficient user skills in Spanish and English, along with conversational German
* Willingness to travel internationally (approximately five to six trips per year)
* A solution-oriented approach, combined with strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills
