Quantity Surveyor (m/w/d) Responsibilities We are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor (m/w/d) to join our team and support the successful delivery of complex construction projects in the Mainz area. The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for supporting the construction progress evaluation and change management process. Supports the development of estimates by performing quantity take-offs from plans and models. Develops the detailed estimate for specific work packages and validates the required documentation. Validates installed quantities onsite by subcontractors to support earned value management and pay applications. Works with the project team and subcontractor to substantiate change conditions and quantities. Analyzes and makes independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines. Supports vendor and subcontractor solicitation, pre-qualification, and coordination of pricing. Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, construction drawings, and cost control methods. Proficient in using relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Excel. Solid understanding of project workflows across Engineering, Procurement, and Construction. Familiarity with earned value management and pay application processes. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic project environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate between multiple stakeholders. Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
