Roles and responsibilites: Preparing the monthly German VAT return, the ZM Meldung, and the annual VAT return Collaborating closely with global tax advisors to prepare local VAT returns and nsure timely submission and payments Maintaining monthly reconciliation of our global VAT accounts Co ordinating with the IT team to translate business requirements into technical solutions Leading VAT projects driven by legislative changes or business initiatives Providing strategic advice and solutions for complex VAT challenges Maintaining comprehensive documentation for VAT Knowledge and experience required: Solid knowledge of German and International VAT/GST within a global context A minimum of three years' experience in VAT law, ideally gained in a multinational organization or accounting firm SAP knowledge with experience in indirect tax setup would be a plus Analytical skills and keen attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy Ability to work in a team and communicate Fluency in German & English Benefits Possibility to work in an international, multicultural environment Strong team-oriented and friendly work culture Flexible working hours model and the possibility of mobile working Internal training program Fitness-, travel cost- and kindergarten allowance as well as drinks and fruits for free
