Key Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership
o Manage and develop the finance and accounting teams.
o Assign tasks, set goals, and conduct performance evaluations.
o Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Financial Management
o Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
o Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights to senior management.
o Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.
* Accounting Operations
o Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
o Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings.
o Prepare financial statements in compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.
* Compliance & Audit
o Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and financial regulations.
o Coordinate with external auditors during audits and implement audit recommendations.
o Maintain internal controls and implement improvements as needed.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, including managerial responsibilities.
* Strong command of accounting principles and local/international tax regulations.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. D365, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and MS Excel.
* Strong leadership and communication abilities.
* Excellent communication skills in German and English (C1+)
