What are my responsibilities?
* Global responsibility for the Engineering division in accordance with the Chief Technology Officer’s (CTO) specifications
* Integrated product development with platform and product management, production and purchasing to ensure market-compliant and production-ready solutions
* Establishment and further development of a high-performance, cross-functional, global engineering organization through the further development of a systematic and key performance indicator-oriented approach
* Establishment and development of global locations to regionalize development expertise and strengthen the APAC and AMERICAS regions
* Promotion of a collaborative culture between locations and the disciplines of mechanics, electrics, embedded systems and software development
* Overall responsibility for the technical implementation of product developments and platform solutions
* Continuation of a model-based systems engineering methodology for virtual validation in conjunction with subsequent physical, data-supported validation to shorten development times while improving quality
* Development of modular product architectures to promote configurability, high commonality of parts and efficient product maintenance throughout the product life cycle
What do i need to qualify for this job?
* Master degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or similar
* Minimum 5 years relevant experience in automation technology and OT/IT networking and/or intralogistics
* Relevant professional experience in an international development environment with cross-functional management responsibility
* Very good knowledge of German and English (at least C1 level)
* Strong leadership and communication skills and high degree of creativity and solution-oriented thinking
* Intercultural competence and willingness to travel
* Strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality
