Als CFO übernimmst du eine Schlüsselrolle beim weiteren Unternehmensaufbau – von strategischer Finanzplanung über Venture-Capital-Themen bis hin zur Skalierung internationaler Strukturen.
Deine Aufgaben:
* Strategische Finanzsteuerung: Entwicklung und Umsetzung einer nachhaltigen Finanzstrategie für ein wachstumsorientiertes Deep-Tech-Unternehmen
* Investor Relations & Finanzierung: Ansprechpartner:in für bestehende und potenzielle Investor:innen, Unterstützung bei Finanzierungsrunden sowie Vorbereitung von Due-Diligence-Prozessen
* Venture Capital & Start-up-Finanzierung: Steuerung von Liquiditätsplanung, Szenarioanalysen und KPI-basiertem Reporting in einem VC-getriebenen Umfeld
* Führung Finance-Team: Fachliche und organisatorische Leitung unseres Finance-Teams (aktuell 3 Mitarbeitende)
* Finanzplanung & Reporting: Verantwortung für Budgetierung, Forecasts, Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüsse sowie Management- und Board-Reporting
* Schnittstellenfunktion: Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Geschäftsführung, Steuerberatung, Wirtschaftsprüfung, Banken, Fördermittelgeber:innen und internationalen Partnern
* Internationalisierung: Unterstützung beim Aufbau internationaler Unternehmensstrukturen, idealerweise inklusive Erfahrung mit US-Entities oder US-Geschäftsaktivitäten
* Prozess- und Strukturaufbau: Weiterentwicklung skalierbarer Finanzprozesse, Controlling-Strukturen und interner Abläufe
* Fördermittelmanagement: Finanzielle Steuerung und Überwachung geförderter Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekte
Dein Profil:
* Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Finanzen, Betriebswirtschaft, Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder vergleichbar
* Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in leitender Finanzfunktion, idealerweise in einem technologieorientierten Start-up oder Scale-up
* Erfahrung mit Venture Capital, Start-up-Finanzierungen und strategischer Finanzplanung
* Idealerweise praktische Erfahrung beim Aufbau internationaler Gesellschaftsstrukturen, insbesondere in den USA
* Führungserfahrung sowie Freude daran, Teams weiterzuentwickeln und Strukturen aufzubauen
* Sehr gutes Verständnis für Controlling, Liquiditätsmanagement und KPI-basiertes Reporting
* Ausgeprägte analytische und strategische Fähigkeiten kombiniert mit pragmatischer Hands-on-Mentalität
* Sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten auf Deutsch und Englisch in Wort und Schrift
* Strukturierte, eigenständige und unternehmerische Arbeitsweise

For our next phase of growth, we are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial minded individual to actively shape our financial strategy and act as a key interface between investors, management and the team.
As CFO, you will play a key role in the further development of the company - from strategic financial planning and venture capital issues to the scaling of international structures.
Your tasks:
* Strategic financial management: Development and implementation of a sustainable financial strategy for a growth-oriented deep-tech company
* Investor relations & financing: contact person for existing and potential investors, support in financing rounds and preparation of due diligence processes
* Venture capital & start-up financing: management of liquidity planning, scenario analyses and KPI-based reporting in a VC-driven environment
* Finance team management: Technical and organizational management of our finance team (currently 3 employees)
* Financial planning & reporting: Responsibility for budgeting, forecasts, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as management and board reporting
* Interface function: Close cooperation with management, tax consultants, auditors, banks, funding bodies and international partners
* Internationalization: Support in setting up international corporate structures, ideally including experience with US entities or US business activities
* Process and structure development: Further development of scalable financial processes, controlling structures and internal processes
* Funding management: Financial management and monitoring of funded research and development projects
Your profile:
* Degree in finance, business administration, economics or a comparable field
* Several years of professional experience in a senior finance function, ideally in a technology-oriented start-up or scale-up
* Experience with venture capital, start-up financing and strategic financial planning
* Ideally practical experience in setting up international corporate structures, especially in the USA
* Leadership experience and enjoy developing teams and building structures
* Very good understanding of controlling, liquidity management and KPI-based reporting
* Strong analytical and strategic skills combined with a pragmatic hands-on mentality
* Very good communication skills in written and spoken German and English
* Structured, independent and entrepreneurial way of working
