Description
We are seeking a skilled IT Security Engineer to join our team at CMS Legal Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, networking, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and modern security frameworks. The primary objective is to provide recommendations on security best practices, infrastructure designs and Mobile Device Management (MDM) – both in cloud and on-premises.
The role will report to the Head of IT Infrastructure. The position can be located in Frankfurt, Warsaw, Bucharest, Iasi, Bacau.
Responsibilities
* Design, implement and manage secure network architectures, including but not limited to firewalls, XDR, MFA and other security measures.
* Administer and secure Windows Active Directory (AD), Entra ID, and Azure environments.
* Assess and evaluate MDM implementations and configuration policies.
* Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
* Respond to security incidents and perform root cause analyses.
* Define technical solutions, support models, policies and establish best practice solutions.
* Provide local implementation support on-site or via remote service.
* Collaborate with the (international) Risk and IT teams to improve the IT environment across CMS and to ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
Requirements
* 5 years of experience setting up and maintaining security systems, proven expertise in EntraID/AD, networking, firewall, and vulnerability management.
* Strong understanding of security tools SIEM, XDR, Microsoft’s cyber security related technologies (e.G., Sentinel, Purview, Azure).
* Knowledge of multi-factor authentication (MFA) and identity management best practices.
* Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.G., NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
* Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain stakeholder relationships.
* Expertise in delivering presentations and producing clear and detailed reports for diverse audiences.
* Ability to work in an international, complex organisation;
willingness to travel.
* Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA Security, Microsoft Certified:
Azure Security Engineer, or similar are advantageous.
* Fluent in English both written and spoken. Proficiency in Spanish, French, or Portuguese is a plus.
