Your mission
As our Service Partner Business Development Manager, your goal is to drive profitable growth for Hiab’s aftermarket business through our network of indirect service partners. You will be the key driver of partner performance and the main point of contact for technical and operational excellence.
Your core focus will be:
1. Growth & Revenue: Maximizing spare parts and service revenue within your region.
2. Partner Development: Strengthening partner capabilities and ensuring they meet our high operating standards.
3. Adoption: Expanding the use of Hiab’s service products across the network.
4. Support & Collaboration: Acting as the go-to contact for partners regarding warranty processes, technical support, and training.
Key responsibilities
As a Service Partner Business Development Manager, you will take full ownership of the partner network's growth and operational excellence. Your core duties will include:
5. Partner Growth & Strategy: Develop the aftermarket business by maximizing installed base utilization and identifying market gaps or growth opportunities through data-driven analysis.
6. Performance Management: Set targets, monitor KPIs, and conduct regular performance reviews and audits to drive sustainable sales growth for parts and services.
7. Sales & Adoption: Increase spare parts capture rates and drive the adoption of service contracts, digital products, and other service offerings across the network.
8. Commercial Excellence: Manage indirect service pricing, partner discounts, and incentive structures in alignment with the Services division and pricing teams.
9. Marketing & Campaigns: Propose and develop parts sales campaigns in close coordination with the e-commerce and equipment sales teams.
10. Network Expansion: Optimize market coverage by identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new partners in your region.
11. Standards & Compliance: Ensure all partners comply with Hiab’s brand and operating standards, equipping them to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
What we are looking for
12. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
13. Experience: 3–5 years of experience in service sales within a relevant industry.
14. Partner Management: Proven track record in managing and developing indirect partner relationships or channel management.
15. Languages: Fluency in English and the local language (German) is required to effectively communicate with partners and global teams.
16. Technical Savvy: Proficiency in SAP and modern service management systems/tools.
17. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using installed base analytics and market insights to create strategic growth plans.
18. Interpersonal Excellence: Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with partners quickly.
19. Channel Optimization: Skilled in managing and optimizing partner channels to ensure high-quality service delivery.
20. Commercial Acumen: Ability to drive profitable growth through value-based selling and data-driven decision-making.
21. Solution-Oriented: An open-minded approach focused on providing the best solutions for our customers through close internal and external cooperation.
22. Result-Driven: High level of initiative and a focus on achieving targets based on solid data.
