Dear sir or madam, For a pharmaceutical project, I am currently looking for a highly motivated Laboratory Analyst (m/f/d) to support and enhance Quality Control (QC) laboratory systems and automation. Project Details: Start: asap Duration: 12 months Workload: Full-time Locations: Wiesbaden, followed by Alzey Contract type: Employee leasing (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung) Key Purpose: The role focuses on supporting, developing, and optimizing laboratory IT systems, applications, and instrument integrations to ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient lab operations. This includes troubleshooting existing systems, implementing enhancements, and delivering new digital solutions aligned with business needs and regulatory standards. Core Responsibilities: Provide first- and second-level support for laboratory applications, systems, and instrumentation Analyze user needs and resolve system, data, and process issues Design, implement, and maintain laboratory IT solutions and automation systems Support installation, configuration, and lifecycle management of lab systems and connected equipment Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver system improvements and issue resolution Ensure compliance with computer system validation (CSV), cGMP, and internal IT standards Develop documentation, provide training, and support end users in lab environments Identify and implement automation-based improvements for QC processes Additional Responsibilities: Act as technical lead and key interface between business, IT, and vendors Drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with system architecture and IT strategy Provide mentoring, training, and stakeholder communication throughout project lifecycles Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Experience in laboratory systems, instrumentation, or regulated industry (e.g., pharma) Knowledge of computer system validation (CSV), cGMP, and SDLC Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills Experience with lab instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC) and IT platforms (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle/Unix desirable) Ability to work in a cross-functional, regulated environment Very good English skills; German would be a strong advantage.
