As part of our team, you will take on the following responsibilities:
1. As an Infrastructure Architect (gn), you analyze the existing system and infrastructure landscape and, based on this, develop technical design changes for new software and hardware solutions.
2. You design, plan, and implement infrastructure technology solutions and ensure their sustainable integration into the existing architecture.
3. You are responsible for managing and continuously developing the existing IT services and contribute your expertise in an advisory capacity to other internal IT units. In addition, you evaluate alternative technologies and identify optimization potential in order to align architectural decisions with the company’s strategic objectives.
4. You develop and maintain the company-wide Asset Classification Methodology (CIAA) and ensure its consistent application while taking security and compliance requirements into account.
5. You ensure end-to-end and consistent asset inventory management across all infrastructure components and provide architectural support for the further development of CMDB structures.
6. Furthermore, you assess IT assets with regard to their protection requirements and translate these requirements into technical architecture and design decisions.
7. You advise IT teams on classification, protection requirements, and dependencies within the infrastructure and support them in implementing regulatory requirements such as NIS2 or DORA.
What makes you stand out
8. You hold a degree in (Business) Informatics or have completed a comparable education or training in the field of IT.
9. You have already gained relevant experience in operating complex, heterogeneous server and application server infrastructures as well as in managing external service providers.
10. For your successful start in our team, you bring extensive hands-on experience in operating ITSM system landscapes.
11. You have experience in assessing IT assets and the ability to identify technical protection requirements and translate them into architectural or design decisions.
12. You have knowledge of structured asset classification models, for example in the context of NIS2, DORA, or ISMS, and you possess a strong understanding of the interdependencies between architecture, asset inventory management (CMDB), CIAA classification, and their impact on operations, compliance, and security design.
13. Fluent German skills and very good English skills complete your profile.
