As AllianzGI continues to develop and grow its Infrastructure Debt investment platform, there is an opportunity to join the Infrastructure Debt Investment team as a working student in Munich. The new joiner will support the team’s efforts in originating, analysing and executing investment opportunities, and fundraising. You will work with the team in Munich, but also with the teams in London, Paris, and New York, in a collaborative and exciting high-performance environment.
With more than €26 billion invested in c. 150 transactions, AllianzGI is the largest Infrastructure Debt asset manager in Europe. Investments are made in core assets (social infrastructure, transportation assets, regulated utilities, renewable energy, etc.), core+ assets (e.g., telecoms, data centers, district heating, smart meters, ferries, etc.) and high yield infrastructure assets.
What you will do
* Support the initial screening of opportunities including presentation to the Infrastructure Debt Investment Committee and preparation of materials to present the opportunities to current and potential investors
* Undertake detailed transaction due diligence, including the review and analysis of financial, legal, commercial and technical reports. Undertake risk and ESG assessment and internal rating of the transactions
* Conduct financial modelling of the investment opportunities
* Support the Infrastructure Debt investment team and Product Specialists in all tasks relating to fundraising and investor communication.
What you bring
* Student of Business Administration or related field at Master level or advanced level in Bachelor program (you must be enrolled)
* Excellent academic achievements
* Excellent writing skills, able to clearly articulate investment related content
* Proven interest in financial markets, finance, and private markets/real assets
* Ability to work diligently under time pressure
* Strong team ethics, organized personality
* Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
* Proficiency in English - written and spoken is essential. An additional European language is a plus.
