Ambu R&D is currently looking for a Project Management Specialist to join our global Innovation PMO Department. This position can be based in either Ballerup, Denmark or Augsburg, Germany.
About the Team
You'll be joining a diverse and experienced team of Innovation PMO Specialists, each with their own expertise. Together, we develop and drive project governance and resource management with the shared goal of creating transparency and efficient processes for the development of our medical device products.
Your role
As a Project Management Specialist in the Innovation PMO, you will bring your expertise to strengthen our team and play a central role in shaping how Ambu executes product development projects. You will also support our project managers by facilitating knowledge sharing and promoting best practices in project management across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Develop and implement a shared framework for project planning and risk management
* Develop and implement tools and systems to support project and resource managers in planning deliverables and allocating resources
* Identify and introduce optimised ways of working to enhance project execution and collaboration across hardware and software development
* Facilitate knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices in project management across all sites
* Act as a key change agent, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and project excellence
Suggested candidate profile
Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have:
* Over 5 years of experience in project management, PMO work, or a similar role involving project governance and planning frameworks
* A strong background in developing and rolling out project management frameworks, tools, and methodologies – including agile methodologies
* Experience working in global, multi-site environments – preferably within the MedTech industry
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills with the ability to influence and support project managers at all levels
* Familiarity with industry-standard project management tools (e.g., MS Project)
* Curiousity about how AI can enhance ways of working and project management practices
* Fluency in English
