Join our Sports Data Processing team at KINEXON Sports and work with real-time data (GPS, LPS, IMU, heart rate) from top athletes in sports like handball, football, and more! As a Software Engineer, you'll analyze and process data that help enhance performance and reduce injury risks.
This position requires an office presence in Munich at least two days per week.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Analyze multi-modal athlete data (GPS, LPS, IMU, heart rate) to extract insights and reduce injury risks
2. Develop and optimize real-time data pipelines for sports analytics using C++ and Python
3. Build algorithms for processing live sensor data from sports tracking devices
4. Detect sport-specific events (e.g., sprints, jumps, tackles) using sensor and video data and create tailored performance metrics
5. Integrate and process large-scale data in cloud environments for consistent, real-time analysis
6. Document, test, and debug software, ensuring reliability, scalability and data quality
7. Translate business needs into technical solutions with cross-functional teams
YOUR PROFILE
8. Strong skills in data manipulation and scientific computing using Python
9. Demonstrated experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning
10. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to extract insights from complex datasets
11. A passion for clean code, efficient design, and sports performance
12. Beneficial experience with C++ for high-performance computing or specialized data processing, including familiarity with build systems like CMake and CI/CD
