As Global Segment Director Manufacturing & Automation, you will drive the global growth and strategic development of assigned market segments. You are responsible for coordinating business development, sales and marketing activities worldwide, working cross-functionally and managing through influence rather than hierarchy. Your responsibilities Define and execute the global segment strategy for Manufacturing & Automation and related sub‑segments Develop medium‑ and long‑term business and growth plans, including budgets, sales, margin and resource targets Analyze customers, competitors, market size and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks Manage and coordinate global and regional segment activities in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing and SCM Build strong strategic relationships with key customers and third‑party partners Track global project pipeline, forecast sales performance and take corrective actions when needed Provide regular reporting and market intelligence to senior management and executive board Support Customer Solution Centers with technical, commercial and quality-related topics Train and enable sales teams on segment offerings, value propositions and tools Represent Trelleborg at industry events, associations and customer meetings Your profile University degree in Business, Engineering or a related field (MBA is a plus) 10 years of professional experience in sales, engineering, project or business management Strong background in Manufacturing & Automation (experience with plastics and elastomers is a plus) Proven ability to lead global, cross-functional initiatives and manage through influence Strong strategic, analytical and commercial mindset Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills High level of independence, ownership and a hands-on attitude Confident user of business systems and tools (e.g. MS 365, CRM, SAP, JDE ) Willingness to travel internationally What we offer A global leadership role with strong strategic impact High visibility and close interaction with senior management International, diverse and collaborative working environment Opportunity to shape and grow key future-oriented market segments
