Position Description
As a Working Student – Android Automotive Development, you'll be part of our dynamic Development Team, contributing to real-world automotive infotainment projects. You'll learn from experienced engineers and make meaningful contributions to the next generation of in-car technology
In this role, you will:
* Collaborate closely with our Software Engineering Team
* Work directly with the Android Automotive OS (AAOS) source code
* Develop sample applications and production-level features in C++ and Java
* Create automated tests in Python using a Selenium-like environment
What you will need to succeed:
* Active enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science or a related field
* Genuine interest and motivation for programming (C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or similar)
* Personal coding experience or side projects – ideally involving embedded systems (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Arduino)
* Located in the Karlsruhe area with availability of 15–20 hours per week
