Responsibilities (Text Only)- Proactively lead technical sales strategy and customer engagements, driving adoption of Microsoft’s AI-powered developer stack across large and complex organizations. - Serve as a trusted technical advisor to senior engineering leaders, influencing technical decisions and accelerating AI integration into development workflows. - Lead and oversee hands-on engagements (hackathons, code-with sessions, architecture workshops) to deliver production-scale solutions. - Resolve complex technical blockers, collaborating with engineering and product teams to drive continuous improvement. - Shape technical strategy through thought leadership, competitive analysis, and community engagement. - Mentor and coach other Solution Engineers, sharing best practices and building technical readiness across the team. - Represent Microsoft at industry events, conferences, and in developer communities as a technical thought leader.Qualifications (Text Only)Required Qualifications - 7+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience. - Extensive experience engaging and influencing enterprise development teams, including senior engineering leaders and technical decision makers. - Advanced proficiency in multiple modern programming languages and frameworks, with deep expertise in developer tools (GitHub, Visual Studio, CI/CD, DevOps, platform engineering). - Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical engagements (e.g., cross-team PoCs, architecture workshops, large-scale migrations) that drive production-scale outcomes. - Proven track record of shaping technical strategy and influencing business outcomes through thought leadership and community engagement. Preferred Qualifications - 8+ years of technical pre-sales, consulting, or technology delivery experience. - 6+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid, or on-premises infrastructure, architecture design, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management. - Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure Architect, Cloud Platform, Information Security). - Experience designing and implementing cloud-native solutions (APIs, containers, microservices, event-driven architectures) at scale. - Expertise with AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot), low-code/pro-code platforms, and Azure AI. - Ability to mentor and coach junior engineers, and to build and lead technical communities. - Experience aligning technical solutions with business goals in collaboration with sales, partners, and product teams.
