WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: ).
* In your new position, you design, implement and continuously further develop the companywide Compliance Management System (CMS), particularly the CMS scope, as well as implement and coordinate a structured and standardized process for compliance risk identification and assessment (Compliance Risk Assessment), definition of mitigation measures and monitoring. This includes, in particular, the legal areas of anti-corruption, competition law, anti-financial crime (sanctions, trade control, anti-money laundering), and human rights.
* Furthermore, you take responsibility for designing and coordinating a structured and standardized process for compliance risk identification and assessment, deriving appropriate risk mitigation measures and overseeing the adequacy and effectiveness of the CMS, including implementation of improvement measures and the needbased development and implementation of new processes and measures in the CMS, e.g., due to regulatory and/or technological changes.
* Your expertise is in demand! You contribute to the design and implementation of the global compliance organization, acting as a central interface to the international compliance network as well as to compliancerelevant functions along the value chain besides other management systems, such as RMS and ICS.
* In addition, you advise management, corporate functions and business units on all compliance matters, including preparation of decisionmaking materials, reporting to the executive management and audit committee, as well as conducting or assisting in compliance investigations and audits.
* Last but not least, you coordinate and conduct compliance trainings, ensure adherence to external and internal requirements in an international environment plus maintain communication and exchange with authorities and other external stakeholder.
WHAT YOU OFFER
* university degree in Law, Economics, Natural Sciences or a comparable field
* at least five years of experience in a compliance or legal department, ideally within the agriculture, chemical or another regulated industry
* strong knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and standards
* proven digital and AI focus with the ability to leverage modern technologies and data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and quality
* excellent German and English skills
* strong analytical and communication skills, integrity, assertiveness and the ability to act as a role model for a strong compliance culture
