The Role: What to expect Join our Deployment team and help bring cutting-edge robotics and IoT solutions to life at our customer sites. You’ll be the key link between our technology and real-world operations – ensuring our robots are safely installed, connected, and ready to perform. Role Responsibilities: What you will do Travel to customer facilities to install, configure, and commission idealworks robots, fleet management and IoT devices. Connect and test power, sensors, and communication wiring, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Set up and configure network infrastructure to integrate robots with the fleet management system. Perform on-site testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of robots and connected systems. Collaborate with central technical teams to document setups, report issues, and suggest improvements. Provide operator training and on-site support to customer teams. Maintain clear and detailed records of commissioning activities and configurations. Role Requirements: What you need to succeed Strong interest in computers, robotics, and electrical systems. Basic experience with low-voltage electrical work, wiring, or sensors. Hands-on knowledge of network setup (LAN/Wi-Fi, IP addressing, routers, switches). Confident using Linux systems and command-line tools. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting skills and organization skills. Customer facing skills to present complex processes of logistics automation in an understandable way. Fluent in English (B2,C1,C2) and also in German (C1,C2). You have a class B driver's license valid in Germany and willingness to travel 80–100% of the time. Nice to have Previous experience as a field technician, IT support, or electrical installer. Training as mechatronics technician or similar Familiarity with industrial or warehouse environments. Ability to read electrical or network diagrams.
