Your responsibilities
* Creating 3D models, parametric models, drawings, and bills of materials for the new development and enhancement of gasketed and brazed plate heat exchangers
* Preparing, editing, and approving mechanical pressure vessel strength calculations
* Producing standardized customer, catalog, certification, and bolt reference drawings
* Creating and editing change reports
* Creating and reviewing assembly instructions
* Close cooperation with related departments, such as Research and Innovation, in an international environment
Your profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics, or a related field
* Minimum 3 years of professional experience
* Very good knowledge of CAD programs, preferably Inventor
* Good knowledge of working with parametric models, preferably Inventor iLogic
* Good knowledge of working with PDM systems, preferably Vault
* Very good knowledge of thermodynamics
* Good knowledge of heat exchangers, particularly plate heat exchangers
* Good knowledge of pressure equipment directives (e.g., ASME or DIN EN 13445) and their analytical calculation
* Knowledge of FEM (Finite Element Method) calculations
* Good command of German and English
* Good knowledge of common MS Office applications
* Structured working style
* Workplace at one of the locations in Sarstedt (near Hanover) or Wilchwitz (near Altenburg), with a willingness for occasional travel to the other site
