Senior Legal Counsel
Location: Hamburg
Join a leading developer of integrated clean energy solutions, focused on advancing renewable energy projects across Europe. You will play a pivotal role in managing legal matters related to project development, construction, and operation in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Draft and review a wide range of contracts, including SPAs, EPC, O&M, financing, land lease, and power purchase agreements.
* Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, clients, partners, and regulators, ensuring compliance and protecting company interests.
* Advise on regulatory and permitting issues throughout project lifecycles to ensure adherence to applicable laws.
* Manage corporate governance tasks for project entities, including board minutes and resolutions.
* Coordinate with external legal counsel, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
* Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies aligned with commercial objectives.
Qualifications:
* Qualified lawyer in Germany with at least 6 years post-qualification experience, preferably in energy and infrastructure.
* Strong knowledge of corporate and financing law.
* Fluent in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
* Proactive, self-motivated, with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Solid understanding of commercial and legal aspects within the energy and infrastructure sector.
