Your mission About the Role We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer to strengthen our cloud-native infrastructure team. In this role, you will design, implement, and operate scalable and secure systems in a fully AWS-based environment. Depending on your seniority, you will either support and grow within our infrastructure landscape or take ownership of architectural decisions and mentor others. This position is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. Your Responsibilities Design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure in AWS Manage and optimize Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker-based container environments Build and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures Implement and enhance monitoring and observability solutions (e.g., DataDog or similar) Automate infrastructure and operational processes (Infrastructure as Code, scripting) Ensure high availability, performance, and security of our systems Troubleshoot incidents and continuously improve platform reliability Collaborate closely with development and operational support teams Your profile Your Profile Degree in Computer Science, IT, or comparable qualification Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker Experience with modern monitoring/observability tools (e.g., DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and infrastructure best practices E xperience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Bash, Python) Experiencedin workingin environmentswith agile working methods such asSAFe.
